2007 Open Source CMS Award Launched

UK publisher Packt has announced details of the follow up to its 2006 Open Source CMS Award, which saw Joomla! declared winner after 72 nominations and 15,000 votes. The 2007 Award will build on last years, with prize money doubled to $20,000 and five new categories created for a wider variety of CMS’s to benefit from; these include an Overall Winner, Most Promising Open Source CMS, Best Open Source PHP CMS, Best Other Open Source CMS and Best Social Networking CMS.
