Access=Clinic combines the open source invoice, customer and product database tool of Simple Invoice, with the power and flexibility of the Google Calendar , to provide practitioners and clinic staff with a flexible and mobile solution for keeping track of patients and products and services.

This is not a fully integrated package and is only an idea of what might be possible ... any help from experienced coders to bridge the simple invoice and joomla database is much welcome...

You can use the following tools to track sales, book appointments, enter new patient records and browse existing patients.

  1. Appointments  - You need to log in to the Google Calendar (if you are not already logged in). This calendar is able to be accessed from anywhere you want. You can create a universal clinic calendar with multiple logins or use a single login to give access from one email account. Staff members/practitioner can be set to notif when new appointments have been made.
Why use Google Calendar and not a native Joomla Calendar? At present there are no native joomla calendar components that  support multiple room or multiple calendar entries. Google calendar enables the clinic to devote an entire calendar to each of its treatment/practice rooms - enabling a truly flexible solution for managing multi-room clinics.

  2. 2. Staff - Enter staff contact details for easy access to address, phone numbers and email.

  3. 3. Sales - Register each sale/payment using the invoice function. Each invoice is assigned to a practitioner and a patient. You can choose the product/service from a drop down box. All invoices can be viewed and filtered according to practitioner, patient and date. Each invoice can be exported to .doc, .pdf, .xls or toa print preview.

  4. 4. Patients - Create a new patient with address and contact details. You can view and edit all paient details and filter purchases.

  5. 5. Clinic Radio - The clinic radio is simply the Pandora music station (part of the music genome project). Create an account, log in and create your station by entering an artist name or song and Pandora will play music that it deems to be like the song or artist that you entered. Cool tunes to fill the reception area, while your patients wait for their appointment.
