Version 2.2 of the Google Maps API component has been released. This release contains several new features and tons of minor bug fixes. Among the major features added are:

* MiniMap: A miniture map that tracks the movements of the main map.
* SEF Compatibilty: Now you can display multiple categories with SEF turned on.
* Safari Compatibilty: Now you can use Safari-safe info windows on your map.

This component allows for easy installation of fully functioning, easy to use Google Maps onto any Joomla site. Only an API key from Google Maps is required to get your map up and running today.
