Based on Joomla's random image, zOOm Last Gallery automatically displays a random thumb from your last gallery. You can choose whether to show the linkable gallery name and even it's parent cat if it belongs to one. By adding a simple parameter you can also have it display not the last, but previous gallery, and publish as many copies as you want showing different galleries.
