Hoteljob-Deutschland.de is one of the leading german job board for hospitality jobs, catering jobs and jobs in tourism industry with over 6.000 visitors daily, searching through a databse with more than 1.000 jobs from nearly 150 companies.

Hoteljob-Deutschland.de was relaunched with the CMS Joomla! in May 2006 after a development time of 3 months by the webdesign and crossmedia marketing agency das medienkombinat.

For this a very individual component called "mk_jobportal" and nearly as large as Joomla! itself was programmed to fulfil all needs of a modern and sustainable job board. The component is fully integrated in the Joomla! front- and backend and uses a multi level user system (superadmin, companies, job applicants) for giving a wide range of functionallity to all system users. It also contains several interfaces and a stand-alone database for providing multisite features to partners and the subscribed companies. an individual "applicant box" and a "companies box" for subscribed users in the frontend provides all user functions. 

The system runs with a completely redesigned layout based upon the new Hoteljob-Deutschland corporate identity, developed by kreisform and technically implemented and adapted to Joomla! by das medienkombinat.  

In the very near future all other job boards of the hoteljob network will be relaunched with Joomla!/mk_jobportal by using the stand-alone database of the component to provide multisite features and multisite job offering, mutlisite user registration and multisite job subscription.
