How to set your joomla website offline
If you want to set your Joomla site offline, you must follow a few simple steps. This option should be used only if you want to make minor modifications. For complex changes, we recommend to make changes on a test server.  So, how toset your joomla website offline ?

To put Joomla website offline, you must first login in the administration area. In the second step go to Site -> Global configuration.

The first option that appears at this moment is Site Settings. On Site offline option, click the Yes button. Click the Save button at the upper right.

To return online, follow the same steps, except at Site offline option, instead of Yes, you select No.

  Then click Save at the upper right.
