The JamboWorks Template Club has grown up and now it’s time for it to move out of the house. The club is now known as the RocketTheme Template Club and has it's own dedicated site that will be able to provide club members with more focused attention and features.

JoomlaShack has recently released a new template for Joomla! This template is entitled "Synergy" as a result of our recent partnership announcement of JoomlaShack and Compass Designs. 2006 marks a new era for us as we move forward in our efforts to providing valid XHTML Joomla! templates. This template sports a host of unique features including sliding-door tabbed menus, eye-catching bold colors, unique module styling and its SEO optimization is just plain scary! This template includes the pre-sliced PSD and PNG source files as well as exclusive access to our video tutorial section, making it a highly flexible template for customizations.

Osskins.com, the prime template designer for clean websites built with Joomla released a sexy new template called Eye. It features a colorful and centered layout, with a horizontal menu at the top and ample space for a creative banner right under its logo.

Joomplates.com released a new template package, called MP Saponi. This package includes twelve full Joomla templates. The different versions based on the same layout but use different colors.

The MP Saponi template is a very clean fixed width template optimized for screen resolutions of 1024x768 or more. It is made for small and medium business pages, portfolio websites, personal pages and blogs. The template comes with a two colums layout and supports four modulepositions: top, user3, left and banner.It is also equipped with a Java Script based font size zoom function, which allows the user to change the font size with one click. The Saponi templates comes with XHTML 1.0/CSS valid code and a strict tableless layout.

Joomlactive.com released a new free template called Jactive Transportation. It is a fast loading template with a fixed width and three columns to give you the most flexibility and stability in building your site. It is designed, as it's name suggests, for those envolved in the tranportation bussiness.

Joomplates.com released MP Chumash which includes five different templates, all based on the same layout but comes with differend colors. The package also includes the Photoshop source files for the five differend templates.

The MP Chumash template based on a fixed two columns layout optimized for screen resolutions of 800x600 or more. The code is XHTML 1.0 transitional and the template is tested with Firefox, Internet Explorer, Netscape and Opera browsers.

JoomlArt is glad to announce its first template of the new year called JA Rigel. It is a two columns based template package which includes 2 versions with different menu systems.

One version utilises Joomlart 100% CSS Pill Menu + intergrated Submenu employed on the Joomla.org website as well as on Joomlaya.com, the 2nd version comes with the well know JA Flash Menu which is best used with 2 level menu systems.

A long wet weekend has resulted in the first template to come out of The J! Factory. Inspired by the K2 theme for Wordpress by digitalbonsai.com this is a simple high impact design.

The template is variable width, two column layout with split menus and text resizing. Images have been kept to a minimum providing for a fast loading template. Just to make things even more interesting there are seven colour variations available.
